How to choose vertical crib liner

A few weeks ago I got a few questions on our vertical crib liner, so I thought I would share it with you all as it could be useful for others too. 🙂

❓1 of the questions was about the thickness: can we use something thicker than the current 1.5cm vlies for padding?
✅We have a technical limitation here, the sewing machine available to us unfortunately cannot handle anything thicker than this. As you know on the vlies material we still need to put on the cotton canvas and the minky fabric too, then we also add the velco-straps, so all these together make it too much for the machine.
🤔We also thought about using regular foam, however that one cannot be sewn in between the fabrics (wouldn’t look pretty either) and as a result after you put it in the washing machine the foam would get all twisted.

❓The other question was about the number of crib liners needed: how many pcs are needed if you want to cover all sides of the crib?
✅Vili’s crib is 70x140cms, it would need 26 pcs if we wanted to cover all four sides fully.
